Game not working on x box 360 did work once but now it cannot read the disc, other games work well.the game is "call of duty world at war"

Call of duty has a history of being a console killer, if your xbox 360 version is older, your console engine might not be able to keep up with this kind of game, I had an xbox 360 b4 and same thing happened it plays on other games but wont play with call of duty. It also happened to my ps3, what I did was I updated my firmware version for both console. Now both consoles works with call of duty. Give it a try. Thanks
