gas mixer, having opted to pre mix his own gas. I have degunked the exhaust up to where it goes into the muffler. I also replaced the spark plug and gapped as per the old one (.033). It is still not up to par, Before I do a compression check any ideas???
Perhaps he used too rich of a oils gas mixture, not to familiar with that model, but maybe check the exhaust systems spark arrestor at the end of the muffler, maybe 1 screw holds it in, twist and pull it out and check for excess carbon/oil builds up. clean and replace, next would be a compression test, pull spark plug, put thumb on plug hole tightly, kick the starter, if it blows your finger off the hole its probably OK.
