That should not have caused a leak. If the gas pressure is normal and cooling fluid full; you would have normal cooling temps. The only way to know is a Pressure test. If any lines were accidently hit, a small fracture could occur, or solder joints opened up. Check the Fuse on the circuit board and see if it is OK also, although you did say it ran cool. The best way to go is having a pro from the local heating/air come out and do a test for you.
