Gas Tappan oven will not power up after power outage
I recently had electrical work done in my home. This required the electrician to turn off the breakers in the main box. The electrician verified the outlet the oven is plugged into is working. However, my oven will not turn on. It doesn't appear as if the gas is even turning on. Is there some "reboot" that must happen in order for the oven to start working properly? Thank you. I have a Tappan Gas Oven with an automatic pilotless ignition. I do not have the model number. It is very old and probably installed sometime in the '70s. (It came with the house.)

Make this test and use the multimeter. God bless you

Make sure there's power getting to your range, oven or cook top. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power with a voltmeter or by plugging something else in.
