Have new GE 6.0 and from day one I had two flashing lights on each phone--one on the base the other on the handset. One indicates that the line is in use or charging, the other that there is voice mail. Unfortunately, the voice mail counter on the base read 00 and I have no voice mail on the answering machine. No, I do not have telephone provider voice mail box service. Yes, I did a full reboot as instructed by Thompson. Now, the best I can do is to cover the lights with tape to keep the flashing from driving me nuts. Any ideas?
