Ge profile spacemaker xl 1800. recently changed a bulb underneath and everything was geat. today while heating something (no metal) saw a spark and the lights went out. Has no interior or bottom lighting now. clock works, turntable doesnt, but makes noise like its heating. any suggestions?

It sounds like the main transformer has failed. It would be cheaper to replace the whole microwave than repair this one. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hope this helps. Good luck.
