Gear problem Strange thing happened to me on My monster 620 today: I'm cruising on the interstate at about 80mph. My RPMs are at around 5.5 -6 K. I'm not sure what happened butI did something with the gears and my RPM went down to 3-4 K...awesome!? You'd say that I just switched to a higher gear right? umm I don't think so. I counted the gears and I was on 6th already... so I'm guessing that there is some hidden overdrive gear?? I can't get it again and my rpms are still in the 5.5-6 range at 80mph...I miss being in the 3-4K level at this high speed...just when I was beginning to think that my bike is rather tourquey...guess not! :-( All other monster 620 riders I would appreciate your comments... thanks!

Errr... that doesn't sound right. When I had my 620, im pretty sure anything over 80mph would have my tach over 5k. You should honestly be up around there all the time tho. Ducs are much happier in the 5-6k RPM range. It might sound scary at first, but trust me that the engine runs nice and torquey up there.... its the happy place! enjoy.
