Generac 12 kW runs fine but puts out 240 vac and when load is applied switches to 330 vac... When stepped down to 120 vac starts out at 120 vac and then when applied to inverter (for charging) goes to 150 vac- when shut off and turn back on goes back to 120 vac- when applied to load -goes back to 150 or 151 volts?!?!?! Anyone have any ideas??? Ray Diggins

This sounds like a problem with the windings on the generator. This is an induced voltage and should be within 10% of the vac you ask it for
