Heater element shorted against the back when I was removing the drum for maintenance (yes I should have shut the power off) :) I saw a few sparks and the element heated up briefly.

Dryer works now after reassembly but wont heat up at all, I took it back apart, ran it and measured 120VAC per terminal measured to ground at both the terminals that attach to the heater element and the heater coil passes a continuity test.

any ideas??
