GLC-LH-SM with a Catalyst 2960 switch
When I put in the transceiver module, and connect it it doesn't show any 'light' and it won't make the connection. distance is 200m+ on a MM 62,5 fiber which works perfectly with the existing 3COM switches & SFP's.

After doing a no shut on it, if it doesnt light still you may have to play around with negotiation, post if it still doesnt light.

Cisco disables the trans port as default, have you enabled it in the system?
