Got a true cooler with a new compressor... noticed ice on evap when checking temp contrl. replaced temp contrl and still not getting as cold as it should be... ???

Probably an wrong freon level. Check that out. could be a freon leak from when the compressor was replaced. Bad weld joint could be the issue.
