Got computer used for cctv - tried to copy incident on dvd and drawer would not open so i could put in blank dvd - tried to unclip and pull door open on dvd driver - computer said that ide cable unplugged cant see where unplugged and now computer not showin anything on monitor ?? pls help need to get cctv back up and recording

Check all power cables going into the DVD drive plus the IDE cable slot(next to the 4 pin power connector, at the rear of the drive). Assemble everything together and power down. After 3 min switch it on. It should be working now...........sodeep
yes that the simplest way & the ide cable is flat with one edge marked red..............sodeep
