Gps fix We have a 5505i situated under the window of our wheelhouse on our boat. Several times a day, we can lose our fix. Most times, we can turn the unit off, and then turn it on, and it would find the fix straight away. But then you have to reset the 'go to' again. At other times, the fix takes 20 to 45 mintues to re-establish a fix. Most inconvenient at times when you are manuvouring around islands, rivers, etc. I have tried to contact Navman Australia, but have been unable to get them either on the phone or by email.Have you any suggestions? Can I attach an external GPS mouse to my unit, like the one I can use for my computer

Do you have anything interfering with that signal, like a solid mass of metal?
well..sure..but you might want to make sure that mouse is water resistant at the least.
