Great device easy to use OK but the electric cord is always very warm when on. Also very high electric consummation. Not sure if it is just my device? I purchased it in Walmart in Grants Pass, OR last December 2010. I had to stop it to reduce my PPL bill that went from $300 (already very high for a 950sf house) jump to $518 a month after 30 days using this device! OK we just have an increase of 13.4% from PPL plus December was a bit cooler. But I'm concern about this great device consummation... I would like to know if other users of this device reported the same concern?

As far as the cord being warm that is pretty normal as is the power consumption depending on the temp. setting. However I think that much of a increase is excessive so I think if it was me I would return it to walmart and try to get a replacement. It has been my experience with walmart that they generally are quite good at in store replacement within 90 days.That way you could have a basis for comparison. Thank you.
