Green light stuck on
Green light stays on above the tab key. Unable to perform a cold or warm boot. Tried to reinstall the OS but the ck30 is unresponsive.

Got the same with my CK3X - Solid Green LED, black screen, does not react to Power Button/Reset button. Left it running on Friday plugged into the charger, came back on Monday to find the White Screen on it, did not want to warm boot. Tried pulling out the battery and reinserting it - the result is this :(
This sounds like you forced a cold reboot. You do not mention pressing "reset" under the battery, which does the same thing.
Left the ck30 powered off and removed the battery. Replaced the battery with a fully charged one. After a couple hours rebooted the ck30 and it booted normally. My ck30 was tied to the AS400 system. I think this may have been a factor with this issue.
