Your request was quite a chase with most links pointing back to this forum or to hobby shops where our iwave copter just does not exist.
We do have expert help here to solve our problems but at $12 $16 or $20 this is simply a ridiculous price to pay for one wanting a simple parts manual.
I finally googled iwave+customer support and came up with this link which shows some promise. http://www.enigmatec.net/community_customers_support.html
I sent an email to the address listed in the link but have not recieved a reply at this writing. What I would like to have is an extra battery pack for the Copter.
If you do not have any luck with this, It is my thought that the iwave copter is manufactured by another company and sold under the iwave name. There are hundreds of different models of RC copters out there so it is my thought that you could probably go to a hobby shop that sell's these accessories with your "good rotor" in hand and they could probably match it up for you.
Please feel free to add a "comment" to this as we can keep each other posted on the return mail from [email protected]
Glen, I did recieve a reply back from [email protected] here it is.
Hi Randy,
In order for us to examine your problem further, I will ask you to first submit a RMA request to our company. Here you will need to provide us with the details of your purchase (including the model number) along with your full contact information. You can access the RMA request page on our website by clicking on the following link:http://www.iwaveaudio.com/support.asp . Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
And this is my reply back to support.
Lee, (or other in the support group)
I did go to your enclosed link and filled out an RMA request. It was rejected because I did not have a receipt for my RC8704 helicopter which was received as a gift.
I did see other information on that page but my model number was not recognized.
What I am really interested in here is not to return it or to have it replaced but rather to receive a parts manual to replace parts if one is available.
Randy
Glen, I do not think that the above is good as I believe that they either intended to have me send the copter in for repair or possibly to just send me a replacement. I personally do not want a replacement and would be happy if I could order a spare battery pack or perhaps a broken rotor like in your case.
Perhaps you have your reciept to attach to the RMA request, If not you might consider hitting the hobby shops and have them match a new rotor up for you.Glen, I did recieve a reply back from [email protected] here it is.
