Groen tilt skillet 750 mv control
Groen tilt skillet not lighting the main burners. pilot light is lit, temp control is on highest temp. i made sure temp control and high limit were closed. i bypassed the mercury tilt safety and still did not light mainburners. could the 750 mv generator be bad or maybe gas valve what are ways to check both parts. i checked the millivolt generator but my meter only read between 2.3 to 3.5 mv.

You need to check the generator in series with flame present. remove one wire from gas valve.put 1 of your meter probes under gas valve terminal where you removed one lead from powerpyle generator.put generator on other probe anything over 600 mv and your generators is ok under replace
