Guitar Hero 3 Won't Install
OK, I have previously had Guitar Hero 3 installed on my computer for the purpose of playing custom songs (I play the songs that are actually in the game on PS3), and it worked quite well for awhile. However, recently, it just randomly stopped working completely. I tried many things to get it to work again, but finally decided to just delete it and re-download the game. However, when I try to install it now, it will not allow me to install, even after deleting all traces of the game from my computer. It's as if it thinks the game is already there...it simply gives me a choice of "repair or remove" when I click on the Installer. Also, when I go to "add or remove programs" and try to remove the installer (the only Guitar Hero 3 program left on my computer), it won't do it: it gives me a "fatal error" and says that the "installation" failed. I downloaded the 1.31 patch, but that won't run because it says I don't have Guitar Hero 3 on my computer! What the hell? If I don't have it on my computer, then why it won't it ******* let me install the game?! This is incredibly frustrating; can someone please tell me how I can fix this situation?
