gw DSL light will not stop blinking - trying to connect with Earthlink
I recently changed to a different telephone, had Earthlink make it ADSL active but could not get the DSL light to stop blinking - I've done everything Earthlink suggested and what I could find on the Internet but no luck. The line seems fine since the telephones work. I've connected with a filter/spliter and directly to the outlet.

Earthlink is not your local telephone company? You would need to contact your local service provider. If earthlink set up your DSL thru your local telephone company, you may have to have them contact them. Does your local phone to you or do you subscribe thru what they call a CLEC?
