After an initial stint of shacky performance my new H4 stopped. The nightmare began. I have by now finally managed to overcome my sofware QBase problems and so I plug in the H4 so I can get to work (Apple Mac 1.14) and what does the H4 show up as? An untitled external device. It doesn't show up in the MIDI?AUDIO devices and the Zoom itself tells me it is connecting to the computer but then just gets stuck there. Is this device more trouble than it is worth? I am definitely starting to think so. Plug and play ... no way! Can anyone help me? I have the feeling I have tried everything (added into aggregate devices as suggested at Apple Forum but there isn't an aggregate device there as far as the computer is concerned, tried adding it in by dragging by doing it plugged, un-plugged... too many to remember).
