Had mine for 4 years now. Worked fine since. I have found if I don't use it for a while (2+weeks) the battery goes completely flat. When I go to charge it, it doesn't power up and charge; instead, when I pick the unit up I am being electrocuted (only a small stinging zap). Anyone know what the deal is?

Probably your phone battery is already condemned since it has given its best service in 4 years now.. Go to nearest outlet and get the battery replaced to avoid something dangerous.. Several people died in cases of condemned battery dysfunction. Feel free to care for your health and get your phone's battery replaced.
