Hi, I have a Haier HWR05XCR-L that is only about 3 months old. Sadly, we did not foresee the ac having issues so soon after the purchase so we did not think to buy the extended warranty and we are no longer covered under Walmart's 30-day return policy for air conditioners so we're forced to try and troubleshoot ourselves or buy a new ac. The issue that I'm having is that the ac changes temperature by itself; as an example, set it at 72, snd it'll go up to the max temp which is 86. Sometimes it does it within minutes, sometimes it lasts hours without changing but ultimately for the last week, it changes and beeps all the way up to 86. The control panel won't work most of the time (the weird part is sometimes it does) but the only button that seems to work all the time is coincidentally the button to raise temp. I don't know if there is a connection between that and the temp rising by itself but it's a thought. If you use the remote to try and stop the temp from changing when it starts heading towards 86, it'll literally fight you until you let it change. Any help is appreciated because I really have no idea what to do.
