Only bought car 6mths ago.already replaced power steering belt 4mths ago,car was dormant for 6 months before I got it so a few parts fatigued no dramas but just wundering if the adjuster bolt has flogged out a washer or somthing

Belt squealing is ALWAYS and ONLY loose and possibly damp / wet belts
Try checking the tension on the belts and tighten if necessary.
If you have recently worked on the car, then you may have not tightened nuts bolts to correct Torque and they have become loose causing loss of tension in the belts.
You should NEVER spray anything on the belts. !!!! The chemicals can weaken them and they will be more likely to slip in the future.
