Have a Ingersoll Rand 2135 ti impact wrench with a trigger that sticks in. Don"t know if it needs a spring in the trigger part or if there is another problem. Took it apart and cleaned it and oiled and put it back together and same thing?

I have the same problem, and a fellow co-worker of mine told me about the problem. here it is.. on the handle there are two slots on either side, push them in and the air inlet assembly should pop out along with a broken tiny metal rod.. this rod connects to the inlet valve and turns on and off ur impact wrench.. i have been looking for replacement parts but cant find any.. hope this helps you and maybe help me too..
