Have a model up26t serial#010782007,lights and burns good for 10 minutes or so. Then you here a click up in the control area and it shuts flame and pilot light off. If you wait a little while you will hear a click and it resets allowing you to re-light.Is it possile to still buy parts for this heater?

The manufacturer has a website (www.desatech.com ), they list part distributors on that site this should help you in your search. It should like you need to replace the thermocouple or the ODS pilot assembly... this is the most common problem with these units. I think your model must be a VP26T if is a Vanguard unit?
