Have a oldsmobile alero that over heats every 5 to 10 mins, always have to pull over. Thinking there might be a pin hole in hoses that enlarge under pressure, do not see any coolant leak at all. Think
Never can find coolant leak, not present when vehicle is idileing. Temperature guage in car increase while driving. Vehicle must be pulled over every 5 to 10 min, while in use. Check resivour and there is no coolant left. Keep having to refill with water each time vehicle is pulled over every 5 to 10 min's. Thinking it is a pin hole in the hoses when they are under pressure causes a pin hole to expand and cause the leak. Radiator cap looks ok! Started to think thermostat, do i need to check the housing, is there a t-stat there?

Might be the thermostat or could be a cracked head! Check your oil for water! And you can buy some stop leak from like auto zone or other parts house
