If the radio was "peaked and tuned" then it is naturally going to draw more amperage than it would if it was stock. Some technicians forget to install a larer fuse after these modifications. Try a slightly larger fuse....maybe a 10 amp. No promises that this is the issue, but its a start. Lost Jeep, Athens GA 10-7.

Check your swr's they may be high. causing it to blow the fuse.
