Have a vw touareg 2005, esp light stays on and car becomes absolutely impossible to drive. revs high to change gear and is not smooth in gear change.power shuts off in motion. have tried every thing but problem wont go away. Esp light came on while driving and refused to swich off. Before light came on, car drovr smoothly.

The light is telling you that there is a problem in the engine management system. Have the fault codes read and fix the faulty sensor/servo
