Have got an Easynote TM Laptop that came with a Packard Bell Games console. I have been downloading loads of free trial games, playing them etc. Now, the downloads are not working and I keep getting error codes that say WTD 1033 or something like that. I have uninstalled all the games that i have already played thinking there was no room for new ones, but this has made no difference. Please help as I am lost without the games. Thanks
Could you please let me know the exact error code/error message? [full description of the error/message is required] If possible or if you are having difficult, take a screenshot and post it back to me with your comments. the error code you've mentioned is not so familiar and seems a new error or very uncommon issue. Don't forget to mention the Operating System, the Antivirus, or other main programs (what you can think of) installed on your computer. I'll try my best to help you fix this.
Well, thanks for your rapid response. Let's first try applying my own experienced tips and methods. I've had the same error only once, it was fixed after reinstalling the Console driver (you must first uninstall the currently installed driver). Note the device model and the manufacturer, after that find the latest updated driver from the official website, download it and save it. Uninstall the driver, then restart your computer. Once the system is restarted, delete all the registry entries of the particular program (in your case, you better delete all the non-working games registry entries), then once again restart your computer and reinstall the Console driver with the latest updates. [Please disable the Norton while installing, it may cause obstruction in the installation process]
To delete the registry entries, follow the steps:
Click "Start" > "Start Search" box, type in REGEDIT and press enter, the Registry Editor window will open up. Now expand (click + sign) HKEY_CURRENT_USER and again expand SOFTWARE, then scroll down the lists and locate the name (folder) of the game/s (Note: the name of the game may be different since most games are labelled with their manufacturer's name), right-click the folder/name of the game and delete it/them. This may take some time and it's not so simple as any mistake may make system unstability (means you shouldn't delete other softwares' entries instead of those you are looking for).
After you are done, again expand (click the + sign) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and then SOFTWARE and delete all the entries (entries of those games) one by one.
Now restart your computer and Run a Registry Cleaner or System Cleaner, you can download Ccleaner here (click here) [download and install the program, open the Ccleaner, click "Run Cleaner" and follow the onscreen instructions, after the cleaning is completed, click "Registry" button (button with Blue Icon) and again click "Scan for issues" once the scanning is finished, click "Fix selected issues" then "No" then "Fix all selected issues" "Ok" and close the program]. Now you can reinstall the game/s.
It's also important to run a full virus scan with a latest updated antivirus, as you know Norton is very strong, I wouldn't recommend and it almost eats up all the system's memory as well. If possible uninstall Norton and use other free antiviruses like "Avira", "Avast" or "Avg" [you can download them from their respective official website *free*].
This will be very long, let me update you if all the mentioned measures don't seem helpful.

Let me add one more comment. After all the games are uninstalled, don't forget to Delete the respective folders from the C: drive "Program Files" folders. And one most important thing you have to note is "Disabling" the Norton.
