Have installed drivers on my pc running VISTA32bit,but when I connect the FW-1804 my pc doesn't go in to the install wizard & when I try to find the hardware the pc wont find it.What do I need to do???

did you power the FW-1804 before connecting it to your computer? The problem is not from your computer.
Check the wire that connects the sound device to your computer, I don't think its sending any power to the computer, that's why its not recognized by the PC.
Cross check the device again. I would also advice that you test the device with another computer, this will reveal where the main problem is coming from.
