Most of the time when fuel is coming from the primer bulb, either the bulb is cracked or the float in the carb is not shutting off the gas properly. Check condition of bulb and replace it if necessary. Be sure you clear the pathway for the fuel by either spraying carb cleaner under the gasket or if your primer bulb has a hole, stick the tiny red tube right in there and spray. However, my bet is on the float in the carb failing to properly seat the needle, causing the carb to flood and the primer bulb area just happens to be where it exits.
