Check if this happens using another known working TV or monitor. Check the TV if it is on PAL, SECAM or NTSC. Switch it to auto or select it from the menu. Try this first especially if you bought this overseas. This may also be caused by bad cables. Try a different cable and see how it works. Other than that you may need to have this sent back to the store since this should be still in warrantly.
This is typical of a component signal sent to a composite entry (or jumbled components connections) Check the cables, connectors and the connection settings: at both ends it should be the same.
As i said - bad connection: it appears that the green is missing.
Again: check the cable and where is plugged in.As i said - bad connection: it appears that the green is missing. Again: check the cable and where is plugged in.
Best advice is to bin it and buy a new one it will cost more to repair than its worth, also buy one with usb support so you download a film on a torrent site then copy to memory stick and watch without burning to DVD .saving the cost of dvds .
