Have picture, no sound
My DVD player was working fine, but then suddenly the sound disappeared. I tried a new cable connector from the DVD player to the TV, but still no sound. I double checked to make sure all the connections were in the right place. I double checked the mute and volume options on the remote, but still no sound. Any ideas?

I've had this trouble too. Not sure how to fix it, but I've found a work-around:
Remove DVD.
Insert Audio CD.
Wait for audio to play.
Remove audio CD.
Reinsert DVD.
Sound should work again.
If you power off the unit, you may have to try this procedure again.
