Have three sets two with very low receiver performance, one no receive at all , in all three sets the green call lamps flasher all the time
Vertex Standard VX-146 UHF radio I believe that a ceramic 455 Kcs filter component has failed in the last stages of the IF, I have three sets one completely dead on receive, the green call light flashes continually, the other two have very poor receive performance also the green call light flash continually. 50 metres

We work on the business band Vertex in the US. When the green light continuously flashes, the radio has a terminal condition. It is typically in the VCO, but often other parts fail as it failed. Due to the price of labor, and the unreliability of the repair, we do not repair these because by the time we find the issue, it is over 60% of the cost of a new radio with a full warranty. Hope this helps, more of a "do you want to take the time to try to fix it". BTW, we throw those away and never salvage parts due to the likelihood many components have failed.
