Have tomos 82 bullit having problem with engine cutting out when lights go on or brakes are applied. cant find any shorts need more ideas

Motorcycles - Tomos - Se 125 F - 2005 Tomos Se 125 F

If you are certain you have no shorts,I would check your battery, then voltage regulator and finally the alternator output.
