Have two of the Minn Kota 70 lb saltwater bow mount 5 speed troll motors and they both have went out. They would start off by losing speed 1, 2, & 3 and only running in high and eventually would get to where had to jiggle handle or cover to get them to run and then would just quit running all together

You have an internal ground short/ pos to ground intermittent short.. tearit down and tighten all coonections and lube them.
