Greetings my name is Mark and I will be glad to assist you. First go to control panel then to network connections. you are looking for the wireless connection, with xp you simply right click on the wireless icon and wou will see view available networks, left click on this and a box will appear that will show the networks in your area that you may attempt to hook up to. If your router is a two wire on the bottom of the router or side is the serial number the last three are the name of your 2-wire examole (2wir743) if it is a lynksys click on that and so on in other words you need to find the name of your network router. When you do you will click on the name and then click on connect it will then prompt you for either a "wep or wps" key , this is the combination number of your router to unlock it. It is between five and twelve numbers.there my be a utility for you computer this makes the process better. This process is not hard and i'm sorry if it was drawn out to explain it to you. It is easier to walk you through on th e phone once and you will get it. Take care, be mucho blessed, Mark
