HawkinG Wireless 1-port USB Print Server doesn't recognize imageclass MF6530
So, I've been slowly building my company's network over the past week (It was very very poor.) So now I'm installing some devices to utilize the networks capabilities. So we have a printer that's a Canon imageclass MF6530. Freaking nice right? Well we don't even utilize 9/10ths of it's capabilities because all we use it for is a hard copier... Lame.

So I got the cheapest network printer server that I could find. My mistake I suppose. I needed it to be wireless, and well this is what I got for a cheap price non the less (35 bucks, i knew that was a mistake but still bought it. lol)

So I did all the neccessary steps listed in the manual (why a wireless print server doesn't have all the software needed to configure it build into the actual server, I do not know.) So after I found out that there is no way to config the printer server via network connection with out te use of te softwarer, i go ahead and install everything.

Setup runs while the printer is connected, the PS (print server) is hooked to my router via long *** cord (wireless apparently can't be setup with out having it hooked to some sort of network device to communicate with it although it did state tat it was possible, yet I never was able to connect it.)

Yay, I have a print server. Yet the program was faulty, froze, and I had to restart it and it didn't correctly setup the unit through the autostart install wizard. SOO I manually went into the programs and used there config utility, that didn't work.

Went online, downloaded all the updated software (yet I didn't check the version difference between sfotware so I don't even know if it was an upgrade) but sure enough, everything started to work. I could access my print server efficiently, and configure it to the settings I wanted.

NOW, the problem. It simply doesn't show my printer hooked to the USB device.

So my trouble shoots:
1. Checked the printer, it's on, USB enabled, setup to be connected.
2. Checked all the cable connections (okay)
3. Checked the printer on a laptop to insure that the usb connection works properly, printer was recognized and installed. (I did a direct connection from printer to laptop via USB - no print server)
4. So then I added my dell printer to the mix (just purchased it 10 days ago), and wala it can see my DELL printer on my print server and allows me to install drivers. Cool, but it's already a wireless enabled printer, sooo useless for me.

So that's were I am at. Anyone know of anything that I could try? I mean, it doesn't really allow me much ability to configure the unit or make any modifications to it enough to where I could get it to recognize my printer.
