Hay, I have a DC18RA T fast charge. after about putting the battery on change, the charge light will come up but after 30sec it will change 2 defective battery signal, i have just bought a new battery as i only had 1 any way and its doing the same on the new battery as it was on the old 1, so is it the charger thats playing up or is it the batterys? cheers dan

If you are using inverter from 110-220v, check the watts thet the inverter can suply/ if it too small' that is the problem
