Hi The ink pan is a unit that catchs the ink that can fall from ink print heads, it also rubs the bottom face of the ink head. The ink pan is large about 50cm x 40cm. you have to get access to the ink pan connectors from the back of the machine. So take off the back cover and hinge up the electrical board. look for the ink pan and move it to the right or left, as its is not making the sensor.
