I previously had my cable box connected to my overhead projector with a S-video connection and audio running through a receiver for surround sound; worked great but I wanted better picture resolution. My projector had a DVI connection but no HDMI. I bought an adaptor and connected the HDMI from my cable box to the projector via the adaptor. When I turn on the projector and select the DVI connection source, I get video for 2 or 3 seconds and then the screen goes blank. Can you help me please?
