Check fuse, then check for power to & from headlight switch, if no power out suspect continuity across switch. Also check for squashed wires & bad connections. The usual place that wires corrode + brake is where the main loom goes around the headstock as they move when handlebars are turned, so check for continuity along relevant wires.

You could help me back by letting me know the fork stanchion diameter for Indian RD350 HT model 1987, or just the fork seal sizes. (I've never asked for favour back on this site, but I just cannot get info on Indian made bikes here in UK)
