Heater is a couple of years old....worked fine till yesterday. Pilot light will not stay on.....whenever i release the pilot light knob, flame goes out. I'm thinking the thermo coupler?

Clean pliot first should be a strong flame blue in colour , if this is done and it still goes out the it pionts to the thermocouple
