Heater or gas failure ?
I bought a log cabin which has 4 Empire direct vent heaters (DV-210) installed circa 1994. I shut them down in May of this year - pilots out and all. Now I can get a pilot light on 1 heater - but can't get heater to turn on and on the rest of the heaters the pilots won't even come on. Could this be a vapor lock in the line or is there a possibility all the heaters just need work at the same time? The main propane tank was just filled and is at 80% - the rest of the house has appliances running on propane off the main trunk line just like these heaters and they're operating satisfactorily.

Can you tell me if the heaters are hooked up in a series or are they independant of each other. this will help pinpoint the problem. also need to know if they each have their own regulator.
votit it's not an oven it's a heater that runs on propane that link doesn't do anything but waste time
when you light the pilot you have to hold the knob down for at least 2 minutes. this allows the system to purge and hold a primeonce you allow for the time for 2 minutes turn the knob to the on position and the pilot should stay on. if it doesn't then repeat the steps. now if they still won't stay lit then have a qualified HVAC tech check out the valve bodies on each furnace. even though this type of problem no matter how remote it seems can happen. as far as the furnace #1 the reason why it will have a pilot on but won't fire is because the valve body senses a low pressure and therefore won't ingage the thermo ignitor. you have a one way valve in the valve body that has to work properly this valve insures that there is no back pressure with a flame involved this is to keep the tank from exploding.my advice is to have a tech look at the whole system. even though your appliances work at the present time. it's better to be safe than sorry. propane is dangerous. and it's wise to make sure all the bases are covered. keep me posted of the results
The little copper tube that sits in the pilot flame may be faulty thats a flame sensor.
Replace this sensor it will solve your problem .
Regarding vapour lock it is not possible for vapour lock that is causing this problem .
