Heater won't stay lit after releasing yellow button
I can get it to light holding yellow button in for 30 seconds, but as soon as I release it flame goes out

You need to replace the thermocouple at the burner tip it will be a copper line with a bulb in the flame tip with a copper tube leading back to the gas valve and it senses the flame and keeps the gas valve open
