heating unit automatically comes on when I am driving(usuallywhen I hit a bump in the road) & I am unable to turn it off. After about 10-15 minutes; however, the light indicators come on & then a fe munutes after I am able to turn it off;however this problem re-a appears again. What can I do????

It is not clearly that AC is also on or not. Here are both cases can be applied to your situation.
1- If the blower is on, not AC then the problem is a bad Blower regulator.
2- If the Blower is on, also AC, meaning the compressor clutch is engaged, then the problem is the climate control unit.
Hi I'm litoshop I need more information when you say the ac turns on does the blower turns on with the ac or just the ac and when you say ac where talking about the ac compressor if so then you should check the compressor clutch relay in the power distributor check if it's kind of loose or if it looks burned and if it's the blower and the ac then it the climate control unit that needs to be replace that's the button where you turn on and off and set the temperature good luck. if this information has been useful please let us know thank you.
