'Up' and 'Down' lights do not light and vacuum body does not raise or lower. Brush still rotates and belts are fine. Any suggestions, or is it a service centre job?
It's likely the circuit board that controls the height adjustment motor, or the motor itself. Your local sebo service center will be better able to test to see just what is wrong. Though it wouldn't hurt to take a look at the boards sometimes they're visibly burnt, or connections can be loose. Good Luck!
In my case, my circuit board was damaged by a Sebo dealer who somehow removed the wasehrs for the screws holding down the circuit board. The circuit board was then too low and a piece of it made contact with the sensor and melted. I had to replace the cicuit board (and seated it correctly with the two washers in place). Now all is god.In my case, my circuit board was damaged by a Sebo dealer who somehow removed the wasehrs for the screws holding down the circuit board.
