Hello all, I am hoping that someone is an absolute genius and is able to assist with my problem. I purchased a Sony Walkman from eBay Japan - Model NW-S315K and it appears to be locked to Japanese language, although I was assured that it had an English menu -wrong. I can't even find a manual in English. I think this particular model is locked to Japanese? Does anyone know of a program that is able to over- ride this or have a solution please?
Thank you for the response Mikey. I am so disappointed as the Ebay seller assured me that it had an English menu. It will be interesting to see if I can get a refund :(Thank you for the response Mikey. I am so disappointed as the Ebay seller assured me that it had an English menu. Unfortunately this is a Japanese spec walkman and there is no option to change the language!
you could try to flash (replace) the firmware from an English spec walkman but if not done properly that could damage it and make it unusable!
I would just live with it and possibly learn Japanese ??
