Hello i am working on a 1978 triumph spitfire 1500 and replaced master cylinder. the brakes work but the brake lights do not. i replaced the bulbs and didn't see any blown fuses.....can you give me any insight? thanks, craig

Sounds like the brake light switch is bad or not making contact when the pedal is pushed. check with a meter the switch and also make sure it is getting pushed in when pedal is pushed. could also be a disconnected or broken wire to the switch.
