Hello, I have a Belkin 2.0 USB 7-Port Hub, and having trouble with it. When i plug it into my computer, nothing happens, there is no power light and ultimately it seems as though the device is dead. Alternately, when i use the power supply, the power light shows that the device is on, yet when I plug in something to the port, nothing happens. Any ideas on what the problem is?

You first need a CAT 5 cable to go to where your internet connection is, such as a modem or another router to your hub. Then you plug another CAT 5 from the hub to your PC. You need to feed internet to the hub then your pc will recieve a connection from the hub. And of course the hub does need power. Hope that's what you were asking.
